Website Tutorial
We use weebly, a website builder that is easy to use and requires no knowledge of coding or programming. Here you'll learn to create a new page and edit a new page.
Note: Modifying and creating pages is ONLY accessible to editors/administrators of the website. All administrators/editors have been given access via email.

1. Accessing the Editing Area
Part 1: LOGIN
- Step 1: Go to http://weebly.com
- Step 2: On the right hand corner of the page, select "Login" button
- Step 3: Enter your credentials.
Part 2: SELECT THE SITE TO EDIT
Step 4: Listed under "My Sites" you should see the McMaster PA Student Resource. Click the Edit button (circled in red on the right)
Part 3: YOU ARE NOW IN THE EDITING AREA
You are now in the editing area - this is the place where you can add, remove pages. Edit pages as well as make edits (Click image on right to enlarge).
2. How to Modify a Page
After you've gone through #1 Accessing the Editing Area, you are now ready to learn how to modify a page.
STEP 1: Navigate to the page you wish to modify by using the menu at the top

STEP 2: EDITING EXISTING TEXT
Click the text you wish to edit and start typing.

- bold, italic, underline, font color

- alignment
- bullets and numbered list.
STEP 3: ADDING TEXT
a) Click and DRAG the component on the top bar down to your page:
STEP 4: REMOVING ENTIRE SECTIONS
If you hover over any section, you'll notice a blue box outlining the section. There is also a little "X" in the top right hand corner. Click that to remove the entire section.

3. How to Create a Page
Across the top bar, navigate to "Pages"
The next page that you navigate will show you the entire index or "table of contents" of pages. Click to enlarge picture.
Click the orange "Add Page" button
Edit the Page information, Edit the page title, select the Page Layout (the one circled in red is the best layout to select) and then click "Save Settings".
Since we have not categorized the page. After you hit "Save Settings", it will take you back to the webpage. And you'll notice the webpage appear under main menu links. In the next section we'll learn how to move this into a more appropriate place.
5. How to Add a Page to the Menu
This will teach you how to organize the pages in appropriate links in the main menu.

On the left hand side, you'll notice grey bars. click and drag the item you wish to move.
5. How to Save your Changes
To make all the changes live, click the oraneg button "Publish". And thats it!
