Intramurals

Intramurals are fun for everyone! McMaster offers a variety of sports over a range of levels. The class of 2014 had a dodgeball and volleyball team called the Medicine Ballers - it was a fun way to spend an evening with classmates and meet people from other programs. Check out some pics of us in action below!

Sports that are offered include: Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Dodgeball, Wheelchair European Handball, Extreme Potato Sack Racing, Flag Football, Floorball, Hockey, Innertube H2O-Polo, Soccer, Softball, Squash, Table Tennis, Ultimate Frisbee and Volleyball.

What to know:

Find a team:
  • You can either form a team yourself or join a “Free Agent” team. Teams can have as many players of either gender as you want but there are minimum requirements.  Each sport is different. Details can be found in the Ath-Rec Guidebook that can be picked up at the David Braley Atheletic Centre (DBAC).
Captains:
  • Team captains are responsible for completing the team roster form, making sure teammates are informed and that everyone is meeting expectations.
Playdates:
  • Playdates are also listed in the Ath-Rec Guidebook. Teams average one game a week
Level:
  • most leagues offer a skill level option (A, B or C) ranging from highly skilled to novice/‘just for fun’

You can find all the info you need about intramurals at the
Marauders website, under Intramural Sports or pick up a Ath-Rec Guidebook from the David Braley Athletic Centre (DBAC)

Games

Interested in watching some of our teams in action? Tickets can be bought for individual games or for the season for specific sports. Home games for football are played at Roy Joyce Stadium located behind the David Bradley Athletic Centre.
- You can purchase football tickets online.

Full calendar can be found at http://marauders.ca/calendar.aspx
